THE MAYPOLE is put up on May 1 every year by the senior class, and sixth graders weave the ribbons together in the Maypole Dance on Moving Up Day. The tradition of the Archer maypole dates back to the days when the women from the Eastern Star home inhabited these halls and an anonymous neighbor erected it for them each year. The Oracle surveyed 177 students for their favorite core subjects, favorite art forms and what sports they played — the remainder was determined with individual interviews. Enjoy!

Correction: The number of Archer graduates since the first graduating class in 2001 has been corrected from 859 students to 737 students.

Great job Syd! My 7th graders viewed this during class and to get inspiration and are now creating their own infographic using data they researched on a country in Africa. Thanks for being such a great role model!
