The upper school beach volleyball team played their first preseason game Feb. 20, and their first in-season game March 5. The team has played 11 games so far this season. With a total of 22 players across the varsity and junior varsity teams, the team practices four days a week — Monday through Thursday — when they are not competing in games. The weather plays a role in the team’s ability to practice or play games, as many games get cancelled due to rain or wind.
The team’s current record is 7-4, and the Gold Coast League games they play next week will solidify their entry into CIF playoffs.
