Enzo and Angela Brings Italy to Brentwood

Enzo and Angela is an endearing restaurant straight out of Italy within a five-minute drive from Archer.

While its location on the corner of Wilshire Boulevard makes it tricky to get in, once inside, Enzo and Angela is a charming Italian café with a small fountain and mural on the back wall.

After being immediately seated at a small table set with flowers and a view of Wilshire Boulevard, I was served an appetizer of tomatoes and bread — I  had to re-order because it was so good.

I asked for spaghetti bolognese, gnocchi, salmon and linguini puttanesca. While the salmon was delicious and came with a
side of risotto, the spaghetti bolognese was somewhat bland and could have used some more spice.

After our entree was complete, I indulged in a chocolate torte, served with whipped cream and powdered sugar. The dessert was by far the best part of the meal.

All in all, the restaurant had a elegant vibe, complete with twinkly lights covering an outside terrace and ornate chandeliers.

Enzo and Angela is a charming restaurant, with fantastic staff and tasty food.
