In this episode of The Student Body, Pasha Selig (‘27) and Emmy Rapp (‘27) reflect on the pressure to reinvent yourself every January and why broad, meaningful intentions can be more powerful than strict resolutions. They discuss how being intentional shows up in everyday choices, from time management and social media to friendships, confidence and self-comparison, and how small shifts can lead to long-term growth. Through personal experiences and honest conversation, they explore how students can set goals that are realistic, healthy and aligned with who they want to become, rather than who they feel pressured to be.
