According to Dean of Students Gretchen Warner, there was over a 75 percent voter turnout, comparable to the 54.9 percent national voting average for the presidential election in 2012.
Warner would like to extend her congratulations to all the candidates who ran.
Because of the exceptionally high voter turnout, Warner has given permission for the Oracle to announce free dress for all students on Friday, May 1.
