Secret treats from across the street
Archer girls have always been regulars at the many restaurants and cafes in the Brentwood Village. The Oracle gathered all of the hot tips and recommendations from Archer seniors.
Iced Jasmine Tea Latte with Vanilla
Sarah Wagner ’16 swears by this delicious pick-me-up from Belwood.
“I am addicted to the iced jasmine tea latte with vanilla from Belwood. It’s hard for me to go across the street without getting one,” she said. “The combination of flavors makes you feel like the drink is hugging you and it’s a great way to start your day.”
Chicken to-go box
Maddie Arzt ’16 is a massive fan of this healthy snack from Kreation. The to-go box includes chicken, hummus and pita bread.
“It’s super easy to get. It’s super healthy and light but it also fills you up,” Arzt said.
Half and Half Soup
This Belwood favorite is perfect for rainy days and studying in the library. Sarah Boehm ’16 is in awe over this mixture of tomato and vegetable soup, which comes with a mini baguette.
“I always get the half and half soup because it’s a perfect combination of flavors,” she said.
Apple Bran Muffin
Also from Belwood, this muffin combines all of the nostalgia and coziness of autumn into one bite. Sofia Garrick ’16 makes sure to always pick up this snack whenever she’s across the street.
“I like it because it tastes like fall. The spices and the apple flavors make it taste like an apple pie,” she said.
Cucumber Mint Lemonade
This drink from Lemonade is one of their little-known lemonades, but that doesn’t mean it’s not delightful. Gaby Sumpter ’16 often suggests this drink to her peers and raves about its minty fresh taste.
“The cucumber’s pretty strong so it makes the lemonade really sweet. But the mint also makes it really refreshing,” she said.
