Archer fans, athletes, parents, and students: It is the end of October and our sports teams are reining it in for the fall season.
Varsity Volleyball is dominating the Liberty League with a 7-3 overall record and a 5-1 league record. They also recently placed 3rd in the Brentwood Tournament.
JV Volleyball has 4-2 overall record and and a 3-0 league record. Frosh/Soph has a 1-2 overall record (they are not in a specific league).
The Green Team overall is 5-6 with two more league games to go. In league they are 3-5.
The Purple Team has 4 victories and 4 losses as they show their Panther Pride in bright purple jerseys.
The Sixth Grade Volleyball Team has a 1-3 overall record and is exhibiting great effort as they spike their way through the season.
Varsity Tennis has 5-3 league record so far and a 8-6 overall record. They have Liberty League Finals Oct. 29-30.
JV Tennis is 1-4 this year and is done for the season. Congratulations!
Equestrian had their first show Sunday Oct. 27 at the Hansen Dam Equestrian Center. According to Emma Lapin ’13 the show went well overall, and she will let us know when the results are posted.
Upper School Cross Country has two meets left— one Oct. 29 and the last Nov. 8 unless runners qualify for CIF finals. They have participated in two other meets placing 3rd and 4th as a school as well as participating in the Mt. Sac Invitational.
Middle School Cross Country has only one meet left in the season on Oct. 30. They have participated in four other meets and continues to place in the top three of all participating schools.
The Middle School Swim Team is going strong this year. With two past Pacific Basin Championship wins, coach Stephanie Ferri anticipates a third.
