Archer Softball places second at CIF championship
After the most successful softball season in Archer history, the team lost to Serra High School in the championship game on June 2.
Serra High School beat Archer 12-2, leaving Archer with a 21-5 overall record for the season.
“We played with a lot of heart and a lot of passion but we ultimately just came up short,” Siena Mizel ’20 said. “Serra is a really good team who came to win, but we fought to the very end.”
Although this game puts an end to the team’s season, students say they will continue to play hard in the future.
