Administration introduces new uniform pieces
Though Los Angeles has a relatively mild climate, students wearing polos over thermal layers was not an uncommon sight during the winter of 2017. This year, administration has introduced several new uniform pieces to help students stay warm during the cooler months.
Such articles of clothing include a gray puffy jacket, a green or gray pullover hoodie and a new style of pant that will debut shortly.
In a school-wide email, Dean of Students Jenn Babin encouraged students to take advantage of a current Lands’ End sale to obtain some of the “exciting” pieces.
Celeste Cannon ’21 expressed appreciation for the new hoodie, which has become prevalent around campus.
“[The hoodie] is soft on the inside and one of the items of Archer clothing that keeps people warm,” she said.
Zoey Cort ’20 said she looks forward to trying out the different options.
“Even though we don’t have winter here, it gets really cold in the morning,” Cort said. “Having options to keep myself warm throughout the day is really great.”
