Archer students head to polls, vote in midterm elections

The 26th Amendment to the Constitution gives American citizens 18 years and older the right to vote. On Tuesday, November 6 – the date of the 2018 midterm elections — eligible Archer seniors headed to their local polling places to fill out ballots for the first time.

They voted on issues ranging from representation in the Senate to state and local measures, such as Proposition 6 on gas taxation and Proposition 7 on daylight savings.
