S4E1 – The Scoop on senior Amelia Hines’ commitment to swim at Brown University

Senior reporters Meredith Ho (’26) and Tavi Memoli (’25) sat down with senior Amelia Hines to talk about her collegiate commitment to swim at Brown University and the process of her athletic recruitment. She reflects on her entire swim journey, the lessons she has learned throughout the years and the people who have supported her. In the end, Hines shares advice to student athletes about the recruitment process.

Meredith Ho joined Oracle as a staff reporter in 2022 and became a senior reporter in 2023. She is on the Archer swim team, a member of the Orchestra Leadership Team, and the co-leader of the Animal Rights Club. In her free time, you can find her riding a bike and hanging out with her friends and family.

Tavi Memoli joined The Oracle as a staff reporter in 2022 and is now returning as a senior reporter in 2023. She plays indoor and beach volleyball and is currently in her third year on the varsity team. She loves baking, surfing, and listening to music in her free time.
