S5E5 – The Scoop on two teachers’ experiences with single-sex education

In this episode of The Scoop, Senior Reporter Phoebe Measer (‘27) and Photography Editor Melinda Wang (‘26) talked with math teachers Matthew Bartha and Leila Chakravarty about their experiences with single-sex education. Bartha reflected on his time at Loyola High School, and Chakravarty reflected on her time at Marlborough School.

Melinda Wang joined The Oracle as a staff reporter in 2022, became a senior reporter in 2023 and is now the photo editor in 2024. She takes art classes and is invested in community service outside of Archer. When she isn't doing homework, you can find her listening to Lana Del Rey or taking photos.

Phoebe Measer, Senior Reporter

Phoebe Measer joined The Oracle in 2023 and became a senior reporter in 2024. She participates in indoor and beach volleyball, is a student council representative, and is part of the Ambassador Leadership Team Advisory. In her free time, Phoebe enjoys baking, hiking, spending time with family and friends and trying new foods.
