With sun peeking through the glass of the Skirball Center and loved ones filling up rows of seats, graduation officially began for the Class of 2025 Friday, May 23. Concluding senior week festivities, graduates took a bus to the Skirball Center to rehearse commencement Thursday, May 24. The next day, seniors got ready and took pictures at school. Then, they took a bus to the Skirball Center, arriving at 10:30 a.m. Their family and friends trickled in at 10 a.m. Graduation officially began with a speech from Head of School Elizabeth English at 11 a.m. It was followed by a speech from Stephanie Perea, faculty speaker Kathleen Keelty and commencement speaker Eleni Kounalakis, California’s lieutenant governor, who shared words of wisdom. The graduating class sang “In My Life” by The Beatles and the school’s official song, “Within the Walls of Archer.”

Meredith Ho, Sports Editor
Meredith Ho joined Oracle in 2022, became a senior reporter in 2023 and served as sports editor from 2024-2026. She was on the Archer swim team, was a member of the Orchestra Leadership Team, and created a book highlighting immigration stories. In her free time, you could find her riding a bike and hanging out with her friends and family. Meredith graduated in 2026.
Emily Paschall, Editor-in-Chief
Emily Paschall joined the Oracle in 2022, became a senior reporter in 2023, the news editor in 2024 and served as the co-editor-in-chief as a senior. She participated in dance and aerial silks at Archer. She was also a part of the Ambassador Leadership Team Advisory Board, Dance Leadership Team and co-led the Empowering Heart club. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing with her dog. She graduated in 2026.
