Archer’s JV volleyball team played its final game of the season against Brentwood School at Park Century School on Sept. 30. The score stayed very close during the game, matching each other’s paces. Throughout the game, Archer retaliated against Brentwood’s spikes with overhead hits. Archer then gained momentum when co-captain Olivia Elsea (’28) was substituted into the game during the last set and served seven balls in a row that Brentwood couldn’t return, giving Archer a lead. In addition, other players stepped up, such as right-side hitter Hadley Iorillo (’29), who helped keep Archer ahead during the last set with passes and blocks. The game ended with Archer winning the final set 2–1.
