Celebrities that attended the 56th Annual Grammy Awards this year seemed to be huge fans of gold. From Taylor Swift to Ciara, each excited celebrity made an unforgettable entrance down the red carpet.
Some wore simple silk, and others dawned beautifully beaded gowns with long trains, adding a dash of elegance.
Taylor Swift elegantly strutted down the red carpet wearing the fabulous Gucci Première gold lamè gown. The short-sleeve, fitted dress she wore consisted of a mesh fabric with crystal lining. More sparkling crystals lined the neckline and arms. Swift added dazzling diamond earrings and perfect pink lipstick to top it all off. She sported a sophisticated Barbie doll-like up-do that perfectly matched her graceful gold gown.
Singer Rita Ora wore a dress perfectly fitted by Jeanne Lanvin and sported it flawlessly. With it’s green-gold fabric and scoop-neck cut, the dress was simple, yet dazzling, and went excellently with her matching Lanvin clutch. Ora decided on a Marilyn Monroe bombshell look— it worked well with the gold outfit and her shiny platinum blonde locks.
Ciara, a singer who came out with the hit R&B song “Body Party” early in 2013, glowed in her fabulously beaded gown designed by Emilio Pucci, an Italian fashion designer. The long dress she wore had a golden-beaded floral design and included a graceful train. The V-neck shape of the dress worked well with Ciara’s figure, even with her baby bump—she is expecting her first child later this year. Her golden hair shined as she walked down the red carpet, making an enchanting entrance to the 56th Annual Grammy event.
