Maya Hernández joined the Oracle as a staff reporter in 2023, she is in her third year and is the Opinion Editor. She is on the chess team, the leader of the Abortion Rights Club, a member of the Ambassador Leadership Team Advisory Board and a member of the Artemis Center. She enjoys reporting on women’s issues and Latine identity.
