London Sinclair joined the Oracle as a staff reporter in 2019 and became the first Oracle Podcast Editor in 2020. She is a student journalist, budding chef, an active conduit for change and often records The Scoop in her laundry room, the quietest place in the house. London focuses her many passions as a gateway for social change hopes to continue that dialogue for the rest of her days.

The cast of the upper school musical "Leader of the Pack" performs two songs from their repertoire in front of students and faculty in the amphitheater. Since being online last year, this was the first musical to go into production in front of a live audience rather than on Zoom. This allowed students to get “back in the groove of things,” according to sophomore cast member Anaiya Asomugha.

Joe Feldman wrote Grading for Equity: What It Is, Why It Matters, and How It Can Transform Schools and Classrooms in 2018 in response to the inconsistent grading amongst educators and its implications on student performance. Every summer, the Archer faculty read a book relevant to their professional development both as teachers and learners. "The easiest thing to do is fail students or give them A’s," Assistant Head of School Karen Pavliscak said. "It’s the nuances in between."

An Instgram account with the username "deararcher_" released its first post on June 27. The account is dedicated to "prioritizing Black voices, pain, injustice, and pride" as well as sharing the experiences of other marginalized voices within the community. "Deararcher_" is one of the many accounts recently created confronting the racial inequality that persists in LA's elite private schools.

Founders Day and the Senior Recognition Ceremony is an annual event to honor the founders of Archer and the senior class. James Russo, english teacher and twelfth grade dean, said in his speech via Zoom that he has "hope for our country, hope for progress and justice, and hope for a world where we can co-exist despite our differences. And much of that hope stems from the heroes [he] get[s] to interact with every day at The Archer School for Girls."

Ford McDill, a rising senior at Harvard Westlake, ran for president at the East Valley delegation for the 2020-2021 YMCA Youth in Government program. According to junior Leo Hecht, "Ford commands a presence in a room, and whether he is drinking Clamato or writing a song for our delegation, his endless positivity and energy add something special to our delegation." Hecht was the East Valley parliamentarian during the most recent season.
