A group of students lead their class in stretching exercises following a fitness class. Most students are no longer exempt from fitness class since the sports season has come to an end. Fitness and wellness teacher Jamie Fink said she always tries to find the skills that they can take beyond the field and into their daily lives.

Both games were played after winter break and the containment of the Los Angeles fires, which halted practice. “It went from us being about to start the second half of the season to just crickets. It was a challenge for sure,” Fish said. “And we’re in a new league so we're playing against teams that are better than us. It's been a season of many growth opportunities.”
