Once every four years the world gathers to celebrate winter sports. This year, Pyeongchang, South Korea serves as host.

Winter Olympic events range from bobsleigh and curling to figure skating and ice hockey. Although all sports are played in winter settings, even tropical countries like Dominica and the Philippines participate in the Winter Olympics.

This year’s games will be held from Feb. 9 to 25.

Here are some numbers every viewer should know, whether it’s their first time watching or their 23rd.

Make sure to tune in and support your favorite country.
