Spirit Week incorporates new, old themes during major assessment week

Associate Director of College Guidance Shalyn Tharayil works in her office in preparation for rising seniors college application season. The candy aisle of a Target store represents the abundance of choices people have in our society on a day-to-day level, which can ultimately lead to decision fatigue. Decision fatigue is when you make poorer decisions due the exhaustion that comes from making a lot of previous decisions; I suggest combating it by decreasing the number of decisions you make per day, which leaves more mental energy for important choices.
