Breaking: Student Council Executive Board announced

After thoughtful campaigns and passionate speeches, the Archer student body had to make a difficult decision for who should serve as Student Council Executive Board for the 2017-2018 school year.

On April 26, students voted at lunch for four of the seven candidates. Rising senior Maya Winkler received the most votes and was named President.

STUDENT ELECTIONS

The Executive Board next year will be comprised entirely of seniors. The position of Student Body President goes to Langdon Janos, as she received the most votes from the rising upper schoolers. The Executive Board will be comprised of Nyah Fernandez, Marissa Gendy and Bess Frierson.

The Executive Board next year will be comprised entirely of seniors. The position of Student Body President goes to the rising senior with the most votes; in this case, there was a tie for president, and margins between all four candidates were so close that there will be a runoff election during Friday's class meeting.
