Archer Athletics releases fall playoff update

Archer Athletics releases fall playoff update

The Archer Athletics Department posted an update of the Fall Sports. The results are in and the Panthers are staying strong.

The update from Archer Athletics stated:

  • Varsity Tennis qualified for CIF and plays at Paramount High School today at 2:00 p.m.
  • Varsity Volleyball won their first game in the Liberty League tournament and plays today at 3:30 p.m. at Providence.
  • Purple Volleyball won their first round playoff game and play today at Turning Point at 4:00 p.m.
  • Green Volleyball also won their first round playoff game and play today at 3:30 p.m. at the Brentwood Pavilion.

All Archer teams played Nov. 5 and here are the results:

  • The Varsity Tennis team came up short and lost by one match at Paramount.
  • The Purple Volleyball team lost their at Turning Point.
  • The Green Volleyball team lost their game at Brentwood Pavilion.
  • Varsity Volleyball qualified for CIF.

In addition to these teams, freshman Leyla Namazie made Archer history by being the first Archer girl to qualify for CIF in cross country.
